Bipolar Disorder

Can the behavior of someone who is chemically sensitive mimic that of someone with a bipolar disorder?

Could the behavior be so extreme that the person would have to be taken to a mental institution? Could the behavior be due to medications (for chemical sensitivies) not working as they should?
Please no comments on behavior due to meth or other illegal drugs.

I'd be careful to help this person all you can. It's very unlikely that someone exhibiting such extreme symptoms will be doing so as a result of allergies.
It's possible to have both (or more) illnesses and then we can be become confused by the way symptoms manifest.
Clearly, he or she needs proper medical support and advice. If this person isn't you and you are expected to care or support I'd be seeking help from doctors and/or mental health organisations.
