Help fast?!?! my bipolar friend is starting to show signs of a manic episode what should I do?
My friend who is bipolar is starting to show signs of going into a manic episode. He is walking really fast around the room right now talking to I think me but I cant even tell anymore hes kind of just talking. Should I get my parents or my sister or even call 911???
Yes, you should get your parents. They can probably help him calm down. If he starts talking about harming himself or others, then you can either call a therapist (if he or anyone in your home has one), or if the situation gets very serious, have you/your parents take him to the hospital where they should have a psychiatric unit.
