vivid dreams bipolar
Bipolar and seroquel?
hello,im jessica,17. i am bipolar type one and my doctor recently perscibed my to seroquel due to the fact i cannot sleep during my manic episodes. i have made the observation that my dreams are EXTREMELY vivid,i woke up today with someone saying my name in one of my dreams.its intense.why is this?
also,if you could answer this, will this medication help my disorder in the long run??

Everyone is different and responds differently to each medication. It is common for it to take a while to find the right combination. However you should keep taking what you've been prescribed until you have a chance to chat with your Doctor.
As to the dreams, I've never heard of Seroquel causing that but it may be worth mentioning to your Doctor.
